DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE by W.A. Mozart, adaptation by N. Muni

Conductor: James Bagwell
Cast: Remkus/Gagnon, Dunnigan/Neher, Sullivan, Dunn, Johnson, Munn, Malanga, Rossiter, O’Neill, Felty, Slipp, Dauz
Production: N. Muni (stage direction/adaptation/scenery/lighting/projections), A. Legendre (Movement), L. Dobraja (clothes), T. Holland (Hair/Make-up)

Production Concept:
Die Zauberflöte was on a double bill with Oliver Knussen’s Higglety Pigglety Pop! It was reduced and adapted into an 85 minute version with no intermission and served as a sequel to the Knussen opera, a second “play” occuring in the Mother Goose Theater. Jennie, the Pig and the Cat observed and were drawn into the action with Jennie eventually “becoming” Papagena, having finally found her true love.
