Production Description: The setting is a contemporary University, in a seminar on Human Sexuality. Alfonso is the Professor, Despina is his GA and the class consists of 12 students. Four of these students, two couples, have recently been engaged to be married. During the overture, Professor Alfonso shows his PowerPoint presentation for the ensuing class, dealing with the subject of monogamy and the assertion that it is not possible. The engaged couples strenuously object and the class agrees to participate in a social experiment in which this theory will be tested. The other eight students at various times take on the roles of the engaged couple and, as a group, they explore the boundaries of fidelity.
